This is a review of the Sun Moon Stars perfume for women, which is from Karl Lagerfeld.
The Sun Moon Stars perfume is a seductive and feminine perfume for women that is intended for modern women and was originally introduced in the year 1994. The Sun Moon Stars perfume comes in a beautiful bottle that is comprised of glass in midnight blue with sun, moon and star symbols that are accompanied by a round-shaped gold top. The fragrance offered by the Sun Moon Stars perfume perfectly accompanies the design of the bottle. It is a long lasting fragrance that is memorable and truly intoxicating as well. The Sun Moon Stars perfume opens up with plenty of fruity and floral notes including bergamot, freesia, pineapple, lotus, orange blossom, juicy peach and rice. These notes are followed by a heliotrope heart, intensive jasmine, daffodil, orange blossom, carnation, seductive orchid, lily of the valley and iris.
Notable Notes: The most notable notes for the Sun Moon Stars perfume are Vanilla, Musk, Amber, Cedar, Sandalwood, Iris, Seductive Orchid, Lily of the Valley, Carnation, Daffodil, Orange Blossom, Intensive Jasmine, Juicy Peach, Rice, Heliotrope, Lotus, Orange Blossom, Pineapple, Bergamot and Freesia.
Recommended Use: The recommended use for the Sun Moon Stars perfume is for a night out on the town and evening wear.
This is a true winner, at least for me, because you cannot detect any preservative or chemical smells like so many other fragrances tend to offer. This scent definitely is a little bit sweet, but the sweetness is upstaged in a good way by the sandalwood, the amber and the musk. This also happens to make an excellent layering fragrance since it is so willing to lend a supporting role in comparison to bolder and crisper scents, where the Sun Moon Stars perfume can work in the favor of the bolder perfume by subduing it just a bit.
Even though fruity fragrances are not usually my thing, this is one that I can really come to adore. In the opening, I do detect a bit of pineapple, but mainly with the Sun Moon Stars perfume I sense the peach. The peach is definitely sweet, but not so much that it is overwhelmingly sweet. The soft florals kick in, in such a lovely way, and the vanilla and musk sort of hug the florals supportively in a way that I really and truly adore. When I cannot decide what kind of fragrance I want to wear, I usually end up just deciding to wear the Sun Moon Stars perfume since it is an excellent choice for any occasion, day or night. If you are looking for a fruity, floral but not overly sweet or overwhelming scent, then the Sun Moon Stars perfume is definitely a great way to go.
