This is a review of D&G Dolce Masculine by Dolce & Gabbana.
The D&G Masculine perfume is aimed at younger consumers who have less disposable income at hand. What this means to you is that you can nab this particular Dolce & Gabbana at a really reasonable price. Unlike most of the citrus scents that are out there, the Dolce Masculine scent seems to be quite long lasting. There are a number of unique notes in this one, including kumquat, peppermint, bergamot, fig wood and also vetiver as well.
Here are the fragrance notes for the Dolce Masculine fragrance from Dolce & Gabbana:
Top Notes in D&G Masculine - Bergamot, Living Kumquat, Lemon Tree Leaves and Petitgrain Leaves.
Middle Notes in D&G Masculine - Basil, Thyme, Rosemary, Helional, Peppermint Leaves and Ozone Living Flower.
Base Notes in D&G Masculine - Teak Wood, Fig Wood, Vetiver, Tonka Beans, Musk and Vanilla Pod.
This is a truly contemporary and wonderful take on the classical citrus chypre scent. This may not be the most exciting fragrance that you can pick up, but it is certainly quite delicious and it is pleasant to wear nevertheless.
There is a nice balance here between depth and freshness. The Dolce Masculine fragrance offers juicy fruit, tart citrus, sweet flowers and vetiver as well. It has a subtle hint of fig and fig tree which is really nice too. The entire blend reminds me somewhat of lemon candy, but it is neither too sweet nor too tart which makes it a nice scent.
The Dolce Masculine blend is long lasting, and you can put it on in the morning and expect for it to last for a good long time. If you are looking for something that you can wear with you all day long, then this is definitely a good way for you to go. The bottle is nice and simple, portable and easy to reach for when you need to freshen up, but you can expect the scent to stick with you for a long time as well.
This scent has been characterized as a lemon fantasy in a nice little bottle. If you are looking for a fruity, tart and sweet summer scent that isn't too overwhelming, with a hint of floral without being too feminine, then the Dolce Masculine scent is the one that you are looking for. Keep in mind that this isn't a winter scent, as it is simply not warm enough - But during the summer time it is tres perfect! As a college kid tight on cash or just someone that doesn't want to dish out a lot of money for a new fragrance, this is definitely a solid way to go!
