Lancome Cyclades Perfume Review
July 5th, 2010 | Lancome, Perfume Review, Women's Perfume
This is a review of the Lancome Cyclades perfume, a perfume designed by Lancome for women.
The Lancome Cyclades perfume opens up with unique musky and floral hoes including essence of Bergamot and Neroli. The Lancome Cyclades perfume is intended to celebrate the Greek Islands, which is where the name is derived from, and it blends into a heart of jasmine and Oleander with a base that is tinted both with white musk and with vanilla. The Lancome Cyclades perfume was originally introduced in February of last year, 2008. It was named as the Lancome Cyclades perfume because it was inspired by the Greek Islands, Greek architecture and the Mediterranean. The Lancome Cyclades perfume is part of the Lancome Voyage collection.
The Lancome Cyclades perfume is named for Cyclades, a group of Greek islands that can be found in the Aegean sea, which is bathed with salty beaches, tiny sea side towns, an azure blue horizon, dense plant life and gorgeous and stunning breezes with aromas that are unique to the Mediterranean and cannot be experienced anywhere else.
Notable Notes - The most notable notes in the Lancome Cyclades perfume include Musky Floral, Vanilla Hyperabsolute, Bergamot, Neroli, Jasmine and White Musk.
Recommended Use - The Lancome Cyclades perfume is best recommended for evening use, especially because it is a primarily musky and floral blend which works well with evening wear.
The Lancome Cyclades perfume is the third in the series, following Tropiques and Benghal. The purpose behind the Lancome Cyclades perfume is to wake you up with the essence of both Bergamot and Neroli. The Lancome Cyclades perfume is then bathed in waves of florals including intensive jasmine and sweet oleander. The base notes that you will find in the Lancome Cyclades perfume include white musk and hyper-absolute vanilla.
The Lancome Cyclades perfume is available in a 50 ml Eau de Toilette format, and it comes in the same shaped bottle as the other perfumes in the Lancome Voyage collection of fragrances. It has applications of Bougainvillea flowers in pink and red. The Lancome Cyclades perfume is advertised using a model that has Spanish origins, named Ines Sastre, and she has worked with other Lancome house projects in the past.
The Lancome Cyclades perfume is an absolutely beautiful scent that is fresh, clean and wonderful and features warm notes combined with the right touch of vanilla. The base is slightly flowered without being overly so, making it an excellent fresh and clean scent that you can wear pretty much any time that you like. I have loved the entire Lancome Voyage collection, and the Lancome Cyclades perfume is definitely no exception. I am glad to own this perfume because it smells wonderfully and I never seem to get tired of it no matter how often I apply it.
