Lacoste Essential is an amazing scent. I have recieved quite a few compliments regarding this fragrance, the main tone of this cologne (haha, that rhymes..) is because one of the main ingredients is pepper (seriously). After the main, spicy tone, it fades off into a light-semi citrus end-note.
The cologne is perfect for spring into summer time, especially when you sweat. Why when you sweat? Lacoste Essential is probably one of the ONLY colognes in the world that uses a technology (forgive me, the name escapes me) in which it reactivates itself when body temperature goes up. It has a life of about 3-5 hours before it begins to fade, however, say you use this cologne, and after a few hours, begin to sweat, or get heated up by any event, the cologne will re-activate and the scent will return like it was sprayed not too long ago. Works GREAT for athletes or for those who work outside, even the nervous types will find this technology very useful. Don't forget, the scent of any cologne is amplified by each person's individual scent! I would definatley recommend this. |

| I don't usually wear cologne but when I first smelt this, it was amazing. The unique smell was fresh and light, but lasted almost the whole day. Only one spray was needed. If you don't like cologne with a spicy heavy sent, this is the one to wear. |

I'd never heard of this brand at all, but I got a magazine with a sampler page and wow did it smell good. That's when I noticed the alligator, and recalled all of the polo shirts I used to have with that gator on them, and then it hit me. So I went out and bought a small bottle to see if I would like it.
This stuff smells absolutely terrific. It's the one cologne I've worn recently that's actually gotten comments - every other cologne people have smelled before, so it's nothing new, but this one got people's heads turning. It's just a great scent, period. Plan to buy a large bottle for special occasions. |

Lacoste Essential is a great fragrance, that yields compliments wherever I go. It is a pleasant fragrance that people notice, but nobody has ever complained about and doesn't seem to be overpowering. Even better, it is very long lasting, due to ingredients (like black pepper) that are heat activated. The top note is fresh and citrusy, with a woodsy middle, and very subtle musk undertones. It's the best of all worlds and is perfect for a business function, causal setting with friends, or a late night on the town. Very versatile and very pleasant.
Bottom line: it smells very good and can be used for almost anything. By far my favorite cologne. |

| Even though this is a tester, the only difference is no cap and it says "Tester" on the bottle. Why pay an extra $10 for a cap. It smells great and it lasts. It is not a heavy musky scent, more light and sophiscated, but i am not good at secents, so google what it smells like then buy it here it ships and arrives fast Highly recommended!!!! |

This is a sporty cologne with a refreshing, clean, fresh scent that never disappoints and is long lasting. Never overpowering or musky, this is a cologne you will want to use everyday unlike that neglected bottle of BLU Notte from Bulgari in your medicine cabinet--a fragrance (if you could call it that) with such an overpowing odor it will clear a room--literally!
List price here at Amazon is rather steep, so look to other retailers like Macy's or Nordstrom's for better value before purchasing online here although Lacoste at 4.2 ounces is a very generous supply that will last you for years with normal to moderate use. |

| I bought this cologne for the first time. And I really like it. The smell is very pleasant and not strong. Three sprays is enough. You will feel like there is no smell after couple of hours. But if you start sweating or if your body warm up it starts giving back the smell. For me it last a long time. I highly recommend this one. |

When looking for a great new cologne for my boyfriend, we went to so many different stores looking for one that he wasn't allergic to, and that smelled delicious to me. When we tested this one, both of us knew this one was the one! Not only was it absolutely the best smelling cologne I had ever smelled, but it didn't bother his allergies at all! So we bought a bottle and he wore it all the time, much to my delight.
But at Thanksgiving, when visiting family, he accidently picked the bottle up with wet hands and it fell on the tile floor in the bathroom and broke. Eighty dollars gone in an instant! Well, I knew he had to have a replacement, and I searched all over for the best deal, and here on Amazon I found the best deal ever! The cologne came in a new, sealed box, perfect condition, and he was delighted with having it as one of his Christmas presents!
You can bet from now on whenever I need replacements for my perfumes or his cologne, I will look here first! Best deals and best qualty, you just can't ask for anything more! |
