There are many different fragrance scents available. When it comes to choosing cologne spray for women you need to consider some advice. Here are some tips for choosing your fragrance.

Tip #1 Never choose a scent that you don't like. While this may seem like simple advice it is often not followed. Many people choose a scent based on what they think someone else will like instead of what their own choice would be. Don't simply pick a fragrance because it's popular or you think you "should" like it.

Tip #2 Choose a cologne spray for women that is easy to layer. You want to be able to use shower soap, use shave gel and apply deodorant that won't clash with your scent. When choosing your scent consider the scents that you enjoy when you take a shower and pick one with similar undertones.

Tip #3 Pick a cologne spray for women that matches your personality. For example if you're a frilly type opt for a romantic flowery scent. If you prefer the outdoors you may like an ocean scent.

Tip #4 Fruity scented cologne sprays are best for the younger crowd or for summer. While fruit scents are popular they are less serious than other types of scents. They bring a feeling of summer. If you're over 25 you may not be able to pull off these fruity scents. Fruit scents work best in the warm months.

Tip #5 Know the difference between products. Cologne is lighter and less concentrated than perfume so you need to use more of it. Perfume is heavier and can be easily over applied. Body sprays are similar to cologne but are even more diluted making them much less scented than even cologne.

Tip #6 When choosing cologne spray for others think about what scents they like and consider their personality. If she is feminine try romantic scents that are typically floral. For the active type consider fresh scents such as ocean, grass and meadows. Classic women may like time-honored scents that have regal undertones. Women who are trendy may enjoy new and unique scents.

Tip #7 Get a signature scent and stick to it. Once you find cologne that you like the most keep it as your own. You'll soon be remembered for your own scent that you wear all the time. It's a great way to be thought of.

Tip #8 Use cologne spray for women on your pulse points and more. Cologne is less concentrated than perfume. The most common error women make when using cologne is to use too little of it. Spray some on your pulse points but also try spraying some in these areas – thighs, cleavage, stomach or ankes.

Tip #9 Keep your clothes smelling good by using your favorite cologne spray for women as a sachet. Spray some onto a small hankie or paper towel and then tuck it into your drawers to give your clothes a soft scent.

Tip #10 Can't make up your mind about which scent to use? Opt for several. Try using them at different times of the day or to match your mood. For example on a summer morning try using a beachy scent. On a formal date choose a stronger more complex scent.
