Following the success of their launch of Cool Water in 1988 Davidoff introduced a woman's fragrance in 1996 - Cool Water for Women. What an appropriate name! The scent has citrus undertones, woodsy notes, with a waft of ocean breeze.
It's so welcome especially in the summer months. If you live in one of the world's June/July/August hot spots as we do you know how unappealing a heavy perfume can be. What seems romantic in winter can be a cloying scent in summer.
While Davidoff's Cool Water for Women is usually recommended for casual or daytime wear, I find it delightful for warm weather evenings and special occasions as well.
For a special treat pair it with the companion lotion.

| My wife keeps trying all kinds of different perfumes but keeps coming back to Cool Water. Other perfumes are too strond or over powering, where Cool Water is a light, fresh, clean fragrance. I use Cool Water for men. |

| I used to like this product when it was coming in eau de parfum. now they stopped producing that and do eau de toilette instead. the smell is the same, but it wears out a lot faster than before. |

I was given a bottle of Cool Water Toilette Spray a couple of years ago
by my nephew, who happened to work at Dilliard's Dept. store, and I loved the
beautiful summery scent. I had finally run out of it and when trying to purchase
another bottle, found that they no longer carried it so, I checked out Amazon.com and found it for a great price! It's a wonderful scent and I have had several

I was very happy with the buy, it arrived before the promised date and was authentic...the beautiful bottle with the silver rings and the unmistakable scent.
I really like the perfume, it is not at all floral, more lemony- very refreshing and the name is apt. Reminds me of the ocean.
The only drawback, and this seems to be a feature of the perfume itself, is that it tends to fade in say 5-6 hours or so. Putting on a little extra is recommended. That's not a problem because I've been using it for a while now but it's pretty concentrated and will last and last! |

Been a fan for years and years, maybe since the first "Coolwater" (for men) came out!
This seems to be a "love it or hate it" scent for some reason!
Perhaps try a sample before indulging?

| The fragrance is very fresh and light. It has a floral base with a light overtone of cucumber or melon which make it airy and refreshing without making the wearer smell like a "fruit salad." It seems to me, however, a perfume that speaks more of a younger person than I am; or perhaps a more youthful fragrance than I usually wear. I tend to prefer deeper sents with overtones of sandlewood or other woody scents. Would make an especially nice gift for a teen or 20-something. |

Don't get me wrong: I love this scent by Davidoff, and I am a total fragrance snob. I was absolutely ecstatic when I first sniffed it at a department store counter.
However, I am disappointed by its longevity. I know fragrances work differently with everyone's body chemistry, but Cool Water does not last on me. After two hours, it's like I didn't use any perfume.
Hopefully it will work better for you. I'm looking for something else. |

| Nice scent. Not too powerful and not too boring. Actually ordered the wrong perfume...was supposed to order the 'Wave' but ended up keeping this for myself. Don't put too much on as it will be a bit strong. Spray and step into the mist and you are good to go! |
