| To those who aren't comfortable receiving the box unsealed, just so you know, the box originally comes that way, even when you buy it from a retail store. One way to tell if someone may have tampered with the bottle is to smell the sprayer. If the product is new, and never been sprayed before, you shouldn't be able to smell anything from the opening of the sprayer. |

| I purchased this item as a gift for my brother. The scent is oceany/watery and is appropriate for young/middle aged men. It became over-popular some years ago, but I think the smell is fresh and nice, and worth the popularity. I received the package two days ago, and surprisingly that EDT package had a gift shower gel (75ml)included. On the box, it was written "travel set". I don't know if all the packages has the same gift included. But to see a free gift in the pack was a very nice surprise for me. Good deal. |

| This is a great value. At a store you can easily end up paying $45-50 for the 4.2 ounce bottle. I think it smells fantastic but I suppose that is subjective. |
A New Look, but the same great product

The first thing you might notice when unwrapping the package is that the product looks slightly different than what's pictured on Amazon's website (stock image). I was a bit worried that I might have purchased a counterfeit item (google CVS and Cool Water), but after doing some research on Davidoff's website, I'm pleased to report my confidence level jump. I don't believe this is a counterfeit product at all...just a design change on the manufacturer's side. Please see the images I uploaded for reference.
I started wearing this in 1999 when my friend Diana recommended it. Almost 10 years later, I still wear it and it drives my girlfriend crazy (in a good way). She likes it so much that she bought a bottle for me last Christmas, and ended up using half of it herself. I bought her the Female version, but she likes the male version better. I have to hide this latest purchase from her...mainly because when I'm with her, I don't want to smell me...I want her to have that feminine scent.
For those who can't "smell" it after a few hours, PLEASE TAKE HEED OF THIS ADVICE. The human olfactory senses get used to scents after a given time period. Have you ever noticed that when you walk into a animal shelter or pet store, the smell of "wet dog" goes away after an hour or so? It really hasn't gone away; your brain just got used to the smell. The same holds true with cologne. Keep to the 1 or 2 spritzes a day and nothing more...Otherwise you run the risk of being "that guy" who walks out of an elevator (or any enclosed space) reeking of cologne.

This perfume is truly the best one out there. Probably the only ones that come close are Hugo, Armani Code and Polo Blue. Great for anytime of the day or night.

| I first purchased cool water cologne back in 1998. I absolutely loved it. And so did every woman I was near. I have had nothing but compliments by women and girlfriends when I have worn cool water around them. I will wear cool water for the rest of my life if its still available to that day. This is my absolute favorite cologne of all time. I have had many different brands, but this is definately my favorite!!! Women absolutely love it!!!! I would like to be buried with a full bottle of cool water, so i can smell good for God when I am around him. |

| I tend to like lighter and more citrus-like fragrances. This rotate this along with Giorgio Armani - Aqua di Gio. I get complements when wearing either. Cool Water is very light and tends to wear off rather quickly, so I tend to use a bit more, but with the 4.2oz size I can afford to use more. |

| Introduced this scent to my son while he was a high school student. It's a fresh, light, and pleasant scent. He's 22 years old and still enjoys this fragrance. Recommend the women's versiion as well, for same reasons. |

| It's definitely masculine. And unlike some of the Euro colognes, this one smells earthy & spicy instead of industrial. It doesn't put you to sleep, but instead has that sort of "out of the shower," stimulating, wake-up aroma. |
