This is a review of the Christian Dior Perfume known as Escale a Pondichery.

When you need something to keep you nice and warm during the chilly season, the ambers and Orientals are good fragrances to go with in place of fresh or floral colognes. Despite this, if you are looking for something fresh and fizzy, the Escale a Pondichery fragrance from the Christian Dior Perfume line is something worth checking out. This is the newest addiction to the Christian Dior Voyage Perfume collection, and it originally debuted during 2008, offering a fragrance that is both light and fizzy.

Not only is Escale à Pondichéry fresh and fizzy, however, but it also happens to contain enough warmth within the bottle that it has a straightforward structured cologne essence to it that is perfect on a chilly day all throughout the year. The Christian Dior Perfume Escale à Pondichéry evokes memories of Indian adventures, reminding me of India and Pondicherry, which as the former trading post for the French East India Company, certainly provides a great inspiration for Christian Dior.

The composition of Christian Dior Perfume Escale à Pondichéry uses a large number of different ingredients, many of which hint at a hidden Indian spirit, including:

• Jasmine, central to religious rituals and Indian beauty,
• Cardamom, which is often used in order to spice cuisine,
• Tea, defining the Indian economy

There are also a number of truly lovely accents that you will find along the way. This Christian Dior Perfume offers a tea based cologne that weaves a simple and yet complex story of woods and hesperides with a number of lovely accent notes all along the way including camphor and lemon zest, milky white sandalwood and many other sexy notes that make this a desirable blend. This Christian Dior Perfume is definitely sexy, though not necessary an essential fragrance because its unique blend is best suited for special occasions and not every day use. It is definitely a warm summer blend.

Notable Notes: This is a light composition with a number of notable notes, including black tea, jasmine sambac, cardamom, woods, hesperides and musk. You will also find milky white sandalwood, camphor and lemon zest mixed in, in the best possible way. This is a surprisingly long lasting blend that is plenty robust.

Best Use: Use this Christian Dior Perfume during the evening or on special occasions for the best results. As a cologne, it isn't as strong or memorable as some other Christian Dior Perfume blends, but it is still an excellent choice when looking for something unique. This is a cologne that is easily interchangeable for both men and women, gently skirting the gender boundary to make it suitable for just about anyone.
