This is a review of the Angel Innocent perfume by Thierry Mugler, as well as a comparison to the Angel perfume by Thierry Mugler.

The first and perhaps most important thing to keep in mind when it comes to these two perfumes is that unless you are really fond of the scent of Patchouli, you may be best benefited by skipping Angel in favor of the Angel Innocent perfume.

Angel Perfume - Angel is one of the most popular fragrances in the past twenty years, and it singlehandedly changed up the entire world of perfume forever when it was introduced in 1992 by offering an innovative and gourmand fragrance creation. Now there are a plethora of different gourmand scents available on the market because of the popularity of the Angel scent. One of the things that makes Angel unique is its heady Patchouli note, which plays a large role in making this fragrance what it is.

Angel Innocent Perfume - The Angel Innocent perfume came out in 1999 and has been classified as being a refreshing and flowery sort of fragrance. The Angel Innocent perfume is recommended for people that like what Angel has to offer but would rather go with something that has less of a Patchouli presence embedded so deeply in it. Angel Innocent perfume is a feminine scent that possesses a pure mandarin, fresh almond, honey and exotic fruit blend that is accompanied by a rich musk and amber combination for the innocence.

The Angel Innocent perfume and its predecessor, Angel, are excellent examples of the fact that perfumes do not only have to be fruits and flowers these days. Some of us really enjoy smelling like delicious foody types of scents rather than floral. I love gourmand type scents, and I knew right off the bat that I was going to love what the Angel Innocent perfume had to offer just by looking at its base note information:

Top Notes: Mandarin and Bergamot
Middle Notes: Peach, Passion Fruit and Apricot
Base Notes: White Musk, Praline, Vanilla, Patchouli, Chocolate and Caramel

If you are interested in gourmand fragrances, then the chocolate, caramel and vanilla should already have you interested in what this fragrance has to offer. Obviously the base of this one is very sweet and foody. For some people, the base notes are harder to perceive, so you may not get everything that you wanted out of this one, but it is still worth trying out if you're interested in something sweet and somewhat dessert like. The Angel Innocent perfume is different from its predecessor in that it has Patchouli has a much more understated base note so that it is not as strong and overwhelming as in Angel.
